This Privacy Policy explains how Pocket Hotel collects, uses, and protects information.

- Account information (name, email, hotel details) when you sign up
- Guest information entered into the system by hotel staff, including ID document scans used for check-in verification
- Usage data (how you interact with the Service) during your free trial, to help us improve the product
- Basic technical data (device/browser type, IP address) for security and troubleshooting
2. How We Use Free Trial Data
During your free trial, we may review usage data to understand how the product is used and to improve it. Once you subscribe, we do not access your account or your data without your explicit permission, except where required to provide support you've requested, investigate a security issue, or comply with a legal obligation.
3. How Guest ID Data Is Handled
Guest ID scans are processed to assist with check-in and are stored securely. This data belongs to and is controlled by the hotel using the Service. We do not sell, share, or use guest ID data for any purpose outside operating the Service.

We apply industry-standard security measures to protect stored data, including access controls, encrypted storage, and restricted internal access. See our Data Security Policy for details.
5. Data Loss Disclaimer
If data loss occurs due to the account holder's own actions — such as sharing login credentials, weak passwords, or mishandling of exported data — Pocket Hotel is not responsible and cannot be held liable for resulting damages.
6. Cookies & Local Storage
We use essential cookies/local storage strictly to keep you logged in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by emailing support.pockethotel@gmail.com. Guest data deletion requests should be directed to the hotel using the Service, as they control that data.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
